Single and family memberships are available. Members receive regular newsletters with notice of cultural events and member's discounts for Camden Haven Arts Council performances. Currently membership is set at $15 a single and $20 for couples and families.
We believe that regional residents deserve cultural experiences similar to those enjoyed by city dwellers, so we endeavour to present top quality artists. While our focus is largely on instrumental classical and contemporary music, we also support a variety of cultural activities including opera, drama and song .
From time to time, we provide opportunities for students and local musicians to perform, to encourage their efforts and to facilitate their interaction with professional and more established performers. Once a year CHAC participates in the Sydney Conservatorium mid north coast student tour, which sees a student ensemble travel to various centres as part of the Conservatorium's outreach program.
Kendall village and its charming School of Arts building, are at the heart of our activities. However, to maintain our high standards and continue to present the best professional artists for members' enjoyment, we now offer events in many different venues and areas across the Hastings. We like to offer country-style hospitality to our concert audiences, and to provide the opportunity for them to interact with performers at the conclusion of a concert. Afternoon tea or supper is generally served, provided by our members whose generosity perpetuates the old country tradition to "bring a plate"
